The Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Law, Djuanda University, was a Speaker at an International Conference in Malaysia.

Malaysia, August 26, 2025 — Asep Thobibudin Qolyubi, S.H., M.H., the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Law at Djuanda University, spoke at the prestigious 5th International Conference on Sustainability in Technological, Environmental, Law, Management, Social, and Economic Matters (ICOSTELM 2025)* held at Universiti Geomatika Malaysia.

In a parallel session, the academic, familiarly known as Thobib, presented a presentation entitled:
Land Law Conflict in Indonesia from the Perspective of Islamic Land Law: Comparative Analysis and Alternative Solution.

Through his presentation, Thobib reviewed the dynamics of land conflicts in Indonesia using an Islamic legal approach, offering comparative analysis and alternative solutions relevant to the Indonesian social and legal context. This perspective is considered to make an important contribution to enriching the international academic landscape, particularly in the fields of agrarian law and land conflict resolution.

The participation of the academic vice dean in this international conference reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Law, Djuanda University, to continuously encourage its academic community to actively participate in international scientific forums and strengthen its international academic network.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Djuanda University, Dr. Nurwati, SH., MH., expressed her high appreciation for the academic vice dean's contribution.
