Bogor – The Student Representative Council (DPM) of the Faculty of Law, Djuanda University (UNIDA), is currently holding its annual 2026 Faculty of Law Student Family General Meeting (Mubes). This series of events, which serves as the highest decision-making forum for the organization, has officially opened and took place in the Moot Court Room on the 3rd floor of the Faculty of Law since Thursday (May 21, 2026).
The opening ceremony was attended by faculty leaders, including the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Nurwati, S.H., M.H. In her remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Law emphasized the importance of strengthening the organizational foundations of the student legislative body.
"As a student legislative body, the DPM has the primary functions of oversight, budgeting, and legislation. To carry out these functions firmly and legitimately, the DPM must have a clear internal legal basis. I request the DPM to immediately draft and ratify the DPM FH's Articles of Association and Bylaws as the legal umbrella for the organization," stated Dr. Nurwati, S.H., M.H.
Agenda and Focus of the 2026 General Meeting
To date, the General Meeting has covered various substantial agenda items through plenary sessions, including:
Discussion of the Rules of Procedure and Bylaws: Focusing on reviewing the organizational foundation to ensure legal certainty in line with faculty regulations.
Performance Evaluation: Reviewing the Accountability Report (LPJ) of the Faculty of Law Student Executive Board (BEM FH) for the 2025-2026 period through the general and specific views of meeting participants.
Strengthening Synergy: Fostering a shared commitment between the Student Executive Board (DPM), the Student Executive Board (BEM), and the Dean's Office to implement the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education) within the Faculty of Law.
The Head of the Faculty of Law Student Executive Board (DPM FH), Muhamad Ardi Maulidin, expressed his staff's readiness to follow up on the Dean's directive. "We accept this mandate as a top priority. The drafting of the Bylaws is a strategic step to ensure the DPM operates more professionally and transparently. We will immediately coordinate with all relevant parties as part of the results of this General Meeting," he said.
This series of General Meetings is still ongoing to finalize the remaining agenda items before officially closing. It is hoped that the ongoing process will yield decisions that will positively impact the advancement of the Djuanda University Faculty of Law Student Family.
