The Faculty of Law at Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) was established by the Foundation for the Center of Islamic Studies and Development of Amaliyah Indonesia (YPSPIAI) through Notarial Deed Number 2 of 1983 and officially obtained its operational permit based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 0231/0/1988 dated April 30, 1988. The Law Study Program initially received “Registered” status, followed by “Recognized” status in 1998, and earned its first “B” accreditation in 2000. This “B” accreditation status was consistently maintained through subsequent assessments by BAN-PT in 2005, 2011, 2016, and 2021. Ultimately, in 2024, the Faculty of Law achieved the highest accreditation level of “EXCELLENT” based on BAN-PT Decree No. 6483/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/S/X/2024 dated October 22, 2024.
