Kudus, October 25, 2025 — Djuanda University has once again achieved a proud achievement at the national level. Faculty of Law student Huggies Yustisio won first place in Karate at the 2025 National Sports Week (PON) for Self-Defense, held from October 11–26, 2025. Themed "Self-Defense is an Achievement," the event was held in Kudus Regency, Central Java.
This brilliant achievement is clear evidence that Djuanda University students excel not only academically but also possess extraordinary athletic abilities. In the final match, held at the Wergu Wetan Sports Hall in Kudus,
"Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), I am very grateful for this result. I dedicate this victory to my family, coaches, and of course, my beloved alma mater, Djuanda University," said Huggies after receiving the gold medal.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law at Djuanda University, Dr. Nurwati, S.H., M.H., expressed her pride in this achievement. "We truly appreciate the achievements of Huggies. This demonstrates that Faculty of Law students possess a strong fighting spirit and are capable of achieving success in various fields," he said.
The Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Aal Lukmanul Hakim, S.H., M.H., added that the university will continue to support outstanding students in both academic and non-academic fields. "Djuanda University is committed to producing a generation of excellence, character, and significant contributions to the nation," he explained.
