UNIDA's Faculty of Law and Master of Laws Program Holds Coaching Clinic: Creating Interactive Learning and Innovative Final Project Guidance

The Faculty of Law and the Master of Law Study Program of the Graduate School of Djuanda University (UNIDA) Bogor held a Coaching Clinic: Creating Interactive and Innovative Final Project Guidance Learning in the Faculty of Law Courtroom at Djuanda University in an effort to improve the quality and consistency of the learning process.

The event featured the Chancellor of Djuanda University, Prof. Dr. Martin Roestamy, SH, MH, as a resource person, along with all lecturers from the Faculty of Law and the Master of Law Program at UNIDA. The event aimed to raise awareness among lecturers about appropriate learning methodologies and systems aligned with UNIDA's vision of a monotheistic and internationally recognized campus. Furthermore, this activity also served as a cadre development program for senior lecturers, following the launch of the Doctoral Program in Law at Djuanda University.

In his lecture, Prof. Dr. Martin Roestamy, SH, MH, emphasized the importance of shared understanding so that the learning process at Djuanda University is focused, measurable, and grounded in the principles of monotheism. Standardization in educational activities is crucial. We are already superior, so we must prepare excellence in all areas: teaching, research, community service, monotheism, and professionalism. "Legal education graduates must possess moral awareness and character in addition to intellectual intelligence. Through activities like this, we ensure that every lecturer understands the fundamentals of values-based education, which goes beyond simply transferring knowledge," he said.

In her remarks, Dr. Nurwati, S.H., M.H., Dean of the Faculty of Law at Djuanda University, expressed her gratitude to the university administration for their support in improving academic standards.

"This guidance clinic is a mature step towards aligning the law study program and Master of Laws with the approach and direction of legal education. We are increasingly confident that our teaching will be more relevant, beneficial, and contextual under the Chancellor's guidance," she said.

This activity also featured discussion sessions and the sharing of best practices among lecturers, including:

  1. Preparing Semester Learning Plans (RPS) based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE);
  2. Implementing active learning methods such as the case method and project-based learning;
  3. Integrating the values ​​of monotheism in teaching;
  4. Continuous evaluation of the learning process and outcomes.

To develop outstanding, honest, and globally competitive graduates, the UNIDA Faculty of Law and the Master of Laws Program strive to foster strong academic synergy through this activity.

The Head of the Law Study Program, Dr. Asep Thobibudin Qolyubi, S.H., M.H., added, "According to the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Asep Thobibudin Qolyubi, the purpose of this Coaching Clinic activity is to align perceptions among lecturers at the Faculty of Law and the Master of Laws program, both in teaching students (lectures), supervising them, and guiding them in writing their final assignments."

A collaborative reflection session and the development of a follow-up plan to be integrated into the learning process for the coming semester marked the conclusion of this event. (FH, 2025)
