A lecturer from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Djuanda, who also serves as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Asep Thobibudin Qolyubi, SH., MH., once again expanded his international engagement through a Community Service program held at Wisma MPM, Malaysia, in collaboration with the Malaysia-Indonesia Trade Relations Council (MPM).
In this program, the Faculty of Law lecturer delivered a presentation entitled “A Comparative Study of Commercial Law in Indonesia and Malaysia: Implications for Business Actors and Regulatory Frameworks.” In his lecture, Thobib compared Indonesian and Malaysian commercial law, highlighting their implications for business actors as well as the effectiveness of regulatory frameworks, with the aim of strengthening bilateral trade and enhancing legal certainty in the region.
The event was warmly welcomed by MPM Malaysia. Representatives of MPM emphasized that this collaboration not only strengthens bilateral relations between Indonesia and Malaysia but also provides tangible benefits for the development of UMKM and cross-border business communities. The program was also attended by Malaysian MSME entrepreneurs, members of the Indonesian Diaspora Association (PARI), and the President of MIMTC.
Through this international Community Service initiative, UNIDA reaffirms its commitment to expanding global networks while contributing to the advancement of digital literacy and community creativity in the digital economy era.
